Overview
These rigid body closures are made of translucent polypropylene and are
packed with 4407 Urethane Compound and rubber tape strips for sealing the ends
of the closure.
Its primary use is to repair an underground cable that was cut. Requires 2
kits per cable cut, extra cable, and "BG" type outside splice connectors.
On new cable construction it is best to use pedestals in place of underground
splices for maintenance purposes.
